Iron Mountain Music offers all artist's something that very few other record labels will, a non-exclusive digital distribution agreement. We do not want control of your musical destiny. Our goal is to simply provide artists with a solid means of getting their music out to the global masses worldwide and generating online sales revenue.

There are no monthly fees whatsoever. We only charge a flat percentage that is based solely on product sold. Artists get 2/3 and we get a 1/3. All CDs are priced at $9.99 each. This means that you, the artist, makes $5.99 per CD sold. $1.00 of each order goes to cover payment processing charges and comes off the top. There is not one major record label or distributor who will offer you such a large percentage as this and like we said, no monthly or add-on fees. It's that simple.

   

We convert your CD's into downloadable MP3 tracks to make your music available 24/7/365 via our online storefront which is located at: http://www.ironmountainmusic.com. At our storefront each artist has their own unique web address such as: www.ironmountainmusic.com/yourname which features a full webpage about you that can include:

  • Promo pictures. (photos you have or we can assist you)
  • A professionally written bio describing you/your band
  • A description of your CD(s)
  • A 30-second to one minute MP3 audio sample from each of your tracks. (Note: We use .wma file formats for slower connections)
  • A list of all your CD's for sale on our site with your CD covers thumbnailed and linked (small clickable picture )
  • Producer credit of each CD
  • A 250 chr. paragraph of information about your lastest news, promos, etc.
  • Contact information such as email, address or phone # for information, bookings, link to your web site, etc.(optional)
  • Studio credit of each CD
  • Monthly updates


The benefits of digital distribution are far better than conventional means because there is absolutely NO INVENTORY for you to maintain and you will not ever get stuck with the huge cost of providing 1000+ CDs to distributors and stores (which also require added shippment costs). Digital distribution also equals ZERO reproduction costs which is why you make a very substantially higher profit. What's really great is that you can even re-master a track, add a track, modify your artwork or otherwise change anything about your cds/tracks anytime and not have any "old and outdated" inventory to get rid of.

We work together with you as a team towards a common goal, selling music online. We employ several marketing strategies to increase visitor traffic to our storefront thus creating more sales opportunities. Additionally, we are bringing online our own Internet Radio station for the very purpose of promoting all of our artists.

Order Processing

We accept any major credit card for payment in real-time via a secure payment gateway. Our storefront features ease of navigation for customers and the ability to immediately make a purchase. Simplicity is the key. When orders are placed by a customer, their personal information such as their full name, address, city, state, zip code & email address is stored in our database. Every month we generate a transaction report that lists all sales and a copy is mailed to you along with payment. We issue checks monthly via USPS either on the 7th or 21st of each month, your choice.
